Does anyone have ideas about how the new Tribe.net rules will affect this tribe? It applies to anything that is deemed 'offensive' by any other member of Tribe. It could be everything here (images and ideas).

Re: Upcoming Tribe.net changes
Thu, December 8, 2005 - 10:04 AMit's all a cleanup so tribe can make more money. Adverisement and investors. Neither wants to see bawdy randy content. Basically 'offensive' means anything someone complains about.
I saw someone call the site "Tribe.com" yesterday based on the profit centered changes. -

Thu, December 8, 2005 - 10:11 AMI find censorship offensive. They can start by banning that. -

Thu, December 22, 2005 - 2:46 PMWOW!
nice work Violet. you're unstoppable.
-------------------------------
ok here goes, kinda off topic but not really. I need to vent this. Have you noticed that private tribes no longer have ads in threads? So, all the tribes with 'mature' content were made private, and the ads were removed from their threads. Can anyone have ANY doubt now that this was ALL 100% a way to generate advertising/investor dollars? Can't say I blame them completely. I mean Tribe IS afterall a business. Just sucks how they went about it.
At the end of the day, the buck is king. -

Re: Upcoming Tribe.net changes
Sat, December 31, 2005 - 1:27 PMa US district judge ruled wednesday that 2257 regulations are unenforceable -- specifically exempting sites such as Tribe.net.
I repeat, this law DOES NOT affect Tribe. do not let Tribe use it as a smokescreen to make you think otherwise. shame on the Tribe people behind this, each and all. they jumped on the bandwagon *before anyone was even prosecuted or issued formal violations of 2257* -- they saw it out there and used it as a convenient way to clean up their image.
they can all eat crow now, because it's not going to be a law (except for *primary* producers of porn, meaning the people who have direct contact with naked, fucking performers):

Re: Upcoming Tribe.net changes
Sun, January 1, 2006 - 7:27 PMYay! thank you Ms Violet!
Written documentation of something we all KNEW was true. I'm going to post this in my similarly Forced-Private tribes.
And c'mon, forcing the Bad Advice and Worse Advice tribes private? C'mon, how harmless are those tribes? And just because someone says C*ca-p*opoo and Boob*e once in a while, bam, private.
Well, at least by being private, we no longer have to look at the ads in threads (reminder: further proof that this was all to please advertisers/investors.) -
